This 4 video is about the first English colony in America. They arrived in 1587 and at the end of the summer they were running out of food. The governor went back to England for supplies but he couldn't return until 1590 because of the Spanish Armada attack. Then he found nobody left there, nothing but a mysterious inscription on a tree. We can practice past tenses and hypothesis. On the right there is a comprehension quiz but no transcription.
