Use of English: The Big Bottle
This article is about a new trend in Spanish parties: binge-drinking in the streets. Teenagers as young as 12 meet and share large bottles of soft drinks mixed with alcohol. Students can discuss pros and cons of this booze-up. The exercises focus on finding synonyms, antonyms, semantic groups, linkers, gap-fill with modal verbs, sentence reconstruction and question construction. The solutions are given with some tips in Spanish.
