Five years ago, the 191 members of the United Nations made 8 promises to improve the quality of life of hundreds of millions of people across the world by the year 2015. These Millennium Development Goals are attempting to eliminate hunger, alleviate poverty and address other issues like education, the environment and security. It's now time to review progress on this United Nations project.
